Moses and Vocational Instability

An
interesting thought ran through my mind today as I once again pondered my state
of vocational instability. (Wow, that sentence almost made me sound like
Kessia!)
The
Thought:
At
age 40, Moses probably had a good idea of his calling--to be Pharoah. I mean,
by 40, you really should have life figured out! But his life hadn't even begun!
He wandered around in the desert chasing sheep for 40 years after that--seemed
to waste his life, his talent, his leadership skills. It wasn't until he was 80
YEARS OLD that he finally knew what God's real calling was for his life! And
even then he didn't like it very much--or at least at first. Maybe it grew on
him later.
So I
reckon at age 24 I stil have a little while to wait before I can start getting
antsy. I might as well enjoy my vocational instability cause who knows what God is
cooking up...
